« A chance encounter with Maria Kalaniemi | Main | 2 Milongas under the stars at Peavy Plaza (with the Big Orchestra!) »
This is definitely one of those things that makes you scratch your head and say "Hmmmm?":
About a year ago, I licensed our recording of "La Cumparsita" to a an animator who specializes in 3D furniture renderings. He told me he wanted to make a video about a "point of care technology cart" that wanted to dance, and he wanted to use our recording as the soundtrack. I no idea what he meant, but I said OK, since I'll pretty much try anything once.
Anyway, he finished it last Monday and I was blown away. Once you get past about a minute of product feature demonstrations, the plot kicks in and you'll see how those carts have some pretty good moves! You can even see a cameo of the Orchestra in the background. I'm not sure who the faces are, but they don't really look like any tango dancers I know ;-}
Here it is
